About Prints Charming Creates
I completely failed at 3D printing the first time I tried it. Gave up entirely. But in March 2025, my coworker convinced me to test Bambu Lab printers for our library system, and it turned out they actually were beginner-friendly. Eight months later, they've taken over my house.
My love of making started when I was four years old. My Korean aunt taught me how to make my first kite out of paper sacks, rice, sticks, and string. No kit, no cost, just imagination and patience. She showed me that creativity doesn't come from money or fancy tools—it comes from curiosity, resourcefulness, and the joy of making something you want.
I also draw inspiration from my dad, who served 27 years in the U.S. Army. I spent years polishing his boots and dress shoes, and he was not forgiving about the details. That's where I learned that if you're going to make something, make it right. His discipline is woven into every part of my work today.
For more than two decades, I've worked for the Pioneer Library System, helping people explore technology and creativity in our makerspaces. Watching people discover what they could make reminded me how much I've always loved building things myself.
I'm also a musician at heart. I started playing saxophone in sixth grade, and that's why I'm now introducing small, 3D-printed ukuleles—affordable enough to make music accessible to anyone who wants to learn.
✨ Where the Name Comes From
The name Prints Charming Creates is a playful nod to my love of Disney. I'm a lifelong fan with an annual pass to Walt Disney World. Each piece I create aims to capture a little of that same wonder you feel when the castle lights up at night.
🧩 What I Make
Through Prints Charming Creates, I curate and make small-batch, pop-culture-inspired pieces from my home in Oklahoma using 3D printing, sublimation, UV printing, and digital cutting. My product line includes collectible dragons, cute and quirky figurines, keychains, earrings, waterproof stickers, pet tags, bookish accessories, and musical mini-instruments—often in sparkly, vibrant colors that catch the eye. I've designed a few original items and also work with licensed designs from independent artists, always focusing on build quality, durability, color, and fun.
🎨 What Prints Charming Creates Is All About
Pop-culture, small-batch creations – Each piece is produced in limited runs for fans and collectors who appreciate the details.
Made by makers – My team—Taley, Jennifer, Jamie, and sometimes Dani—produces, finishes, and packages everything with care and attention.
Community, creativity & magic – Whether it's a printed dragon, a musical toy, or a spark of magical wonder, everything we make starts with the same goal: to bring a little joy into the world.
You'll often find me at Oklahoma craft fairs and markets, meeting other makers and collectors, talking shop about 3D printing, and sharing that spark of creativity that keeps us all making.
